Smiling through the depression
Smiling through the depression- the search for cash
So, woke up this morning and hit the deck- sixty press ups and sits ups and some twirly whirlies followed by a run in the shower. Fitness equals motivation which equals cash. Everyones talking about it. You walk down the street and you can hear the echoes on the pavement as they blame everything on the 'recession.' Oh, I have terrible gout, got it from the recession. My husband can't get it up anymore, must be the recession. People love to have something to blame something on. They need to be able to point the finger and say "It was his fault, your man, over there!"
So, theres no money right? Serious lack of jobs. Pretty bad and miserable all round. The Celtic Tiger is in the corner there, he's not well, spluttering and coughing and wooping. The problem with the celtic tiger was that the money was never real in the first place. We were all living off credit for years and then BOOM it crashed and we all woke up with one big debt, so here we are, jobless, monyless and getting hungry.
We need a plan. Thats probably the understatement of the year. Money can't buy you happiness its true, everyone knows that, but money can help you relax a little. Food, clothes, heating, leisure items, that type of thing.
A plan is needed. The question is what are you prepared to do? Is changing careers an option? Is it time to turn to crime? Maybe even become a television presenter or radio salesman.
As Bob would have said 'the times are changing' and us with it.
The first step to getting THE PLAN is realizing that we need one. The second step is putting on our shoes buckling our belt, hiding the tackle and setting about the business of going outside to find the plan. Coffee is consumed with great gusto and cigarettes inhaled deeply, now given away for the sake of super fitness and health.
THE PLAN
Must develop the plan. Money is God and money is made from paper which is made from wood. Ergo, the best occupation to be in at the moment is a Forestry position or maybe landscape gardening. A job where there is an abundacy of trees. Maybe it would be a good idea to moonlight in a printing press. Learn as much as possible and then join the two careers into one, print a load of money and move to Hawai and live like a king.
I inhale my coffee and decide to develop my own plan. The journey will not be an easy one, but then, all great adventures never are.
I have drunk my coffee and completed the morning excersises. I look from left to right and walk out the front door. Out there, somewhere, is A PLAN and I intend to find it and then use it. Thats what we need to do in these harsh times. Have a little openess. Keep our eyes wide and observe. There is a plan out there for all of us. The trick is to make sure we can see it. The last thing you want is for it to pass you by.
Stay tuned......
